This question does not embarrass parents here at the Arabella. There are certainly more good suggestions than days off. Adventure playgrounds, family hikes, a ride on the monster scooters and much more will keep the youngsters busy and in excellent spirits.
CHILDREN'S PARADISE IN MOUNTAIN AND VALLEY
You can tell a great playground because the time there flies by. For example, it is the new children's playground on the Gurdanatsch meadow below Naudersberg castle. Just a few steps away from the Arabella, exercise-hungry little guests can let off steam to their heart's content in the lovingly designed area.
A highlight in the truest sense of the word is the new Goldwasser adventure world on Bergkastel. Accessible via the mountain railway and located right next to the exit, it offers a vast nature-based range of activities that sparks creativity and the spirit of exploration. A 690 m² play lake with a double raft, play hut village and water games, giant sandpit with play tower and much more form a world of experience in which children are fascinated. The entire park is made of natural materials and blends harmoniously into the surrounding nature. Parents also appreciate the location right next to the panorama restaurant, where the little rascals can easily keep an eye on them.
WAAL, FOREST AND GAMES
The Wa(a)ldpark Mösle is a tranquil place. The playground is next to the Mösle natural pond and can be reached after a short walk from the Norbertshöhe. Many wooden play stations between shady trees, places to rest and barbecue facilities invite you to stay here. If you still want to hike further, enjoy the family whale trail along splashing water, lush greenery and great views of the Swiss mountains. From the Pflanzgarten, take the road back to the Mösle natural pond and continue to Norbertshöhe.

ACTIVE PROGRAMME FOR FAMILIES
In Arabella's weekly programme in cooperation with the tourism association, families get into the swing of things daily - for example, on guided family and cultural hikes, llama trekking, archery or a family day at the Adventure Parcours. Tip: At the Monster Scooter Afternoon on the Mutzkopf, young and old can prove themselves as downhillers of a different kind. After a short introduction, the large scooters with disc brakes quickly steer down the valley.
